Before our letters and the Zoom Bloom circles became the heart of Brave New Life, our members gathered on their own forum at community.bravenewlife.net, where some seventeen hundred souls shared poems, daily reflections, art, prayers and encouragement with one another, and these inspirations are coming home here so the voices that carried our circle can keep carrying us.

As I heard these words this morning a deep sense of truth rose from within. ‘Love is not just an emotion; it is our very being.’ For me this truth has always been the very fabric of creation. There is nothing without love. When we begin to peel off the layers of programmed conditioning of not being good enough, not beautiful enough, not clever enough, never feeling enough, always pushing ourselves to get approval or acceptance, and finally get to the core of who we are, there is only pure unconditional love. … Be the love you are and find everything you are looking for. The Lifestream welcomes me as I choose to dance in shimmering waters.
As the soft light emerges
from dim and dank of the cycles’ lower face
I am re-minded of joy and contentment
Of a place at the table of life
And change
I place a gentle foot
Into great flow
Water welcomes me
Carrying threads, current,
to the place of connection
And again apart
To return, Alive!

In my heart today is
the wonder that laces my all
that I forget when I feel not so tall
when in truth when I recall
I have abandoned my triadic self
But no more will I as I return
the shattered selves am ready to burn

I have been communicating with one star in particular every night for almost a year now and thanking it for its steadfast appearance as the brightest star within my vision of the night sky. It is amazing how it wobbles slightly either up/down or side to side when I ask it simple questions! You can call me “crazy,” but I BELIEVE!!

how that cellular memory, inside of me, knows the brutality, the losses, the creativity, the drive to live.
the love they have is in my cells, ever present. they remind me of the incredible strength they had, to endure

how they had to reinvent themselves in completely different places, circumstances and thrived. weaving their beautiful cloths, textiles…
spinning gold into figures of eight.
spinning into new lives, new places. new air. new homes. given refuge in new lands.

they will be here all around me. to help me to stand in the Christed light, right action right truth.
